Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Simply click "Sign in with Discord" on the homepage. Your account will be created automatically when you authorize Cadence to access your Discord profile.
Do I need Discord to use Cadence?
Yes, Discord is required for authentication. However, people can mark their availability on events without an account if they have the event link.
Events
How do I create an event?
Go to your team dashboard, click "Create Event," fill in the details (name, date range, time window), and share the link with your team. See our Creating Events guide for detailed steps.
Can people respond without an account?
Yes! Anyone with an event link can mark their availability without creating an account. However, creating an account gives access to more features like team management and notifications.
How do I read the heatmap?
The heatmap shows availability with color intensity. Darker colors mean more people are available. See our Understanding the Heatmap guide for more details.
Teams
How many teams can I create?
Free plan users can create 1 team. Premium users can create up to 4 teams (varies by subscription tier).
How many members can be in a team?
Free plan teams can have up to 8 members. Premium teams can have 10+ members depending on your subscription tier.
Pricing
Is there a free plan?
Yes! The free plan includes 1 team, 8 members per team, unlimited events, and basic features. See our pricing page for details.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and we'll prorate any charges.
