Your account settings let you customize your Cadence experience. This guide covers all the settings you can configure.
Accessing Settings
To access your account settings:
- Click on your profile picture or avatar in the top right
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
- Or navigate directly to /app/settings
Profile Settings
Display Name
Your display name is how you appear to other team members. You can change it from your Discord username to something more personal or professional.
Avatar
Your avatar is synced from Discord by default. To change it, update your Discord avatar and it will sync automatically.
Your email is pulled from your Discord account. If you need to change it, update it in Discord first.
Preferences
Default Timezone
Set your default timezone so events are displayed in your local time. This can be overridden per event if needed.
Date Format
Choose how dates are displayed (MM/DD/YYYY, DD/MM/YYYY, etc.) based on your region.
Time Format
Choose between 12-hour (3:00 PM) or 24-hour (15:00) time format.
Privacy Settings
Control what information is visible to others:
- Profile Visibility: Control who can see your profile information
- Activity Status: Show or hide when you're online
- Team Discovery: Allow others to find you when searching for team members
Subscription Management
If you're on a Premium plan, you can:
- View your current plan and features
- Upgrade or downgrade your subscription
- Update payment information
- View billing history
- Cancel your subscription
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the settings page. This will:
- Delete your account and personal information
- Remove you from all teams
- Cancel any active subscriptions
- Delete your availability responses (events you created may remain for other members)
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you want to delete your account before proceeding.
