iCal / CalDAV Integration

Setting Up iCal Integration

Subscribe to your Cadence events in any calendar app using our iCal feed. Your events will automatically sync and update in your calendar.

Step 1: Generate a Calendar Token

First, you need to generate a private calendar token:

1. Go to your Dashboard or Settings
2. Click on "Calendar" in the settings menu
3. Click "Generate Calendar Token"
4. Copy the calendar feed URL that's generated

Step 2: Add to Your Calendar App

The calendar feed URL will look like: https://cadence.com/api/calendar/feed.ics?token=YOUR_TOKEN

Google Calendar

1. Open Google Calendar
2. Click the "+" next to "Other calendars"
3. Select "From URL"
4. Paste your calendar feed URL
5. Click "Add calendar"

Outlook

1. Open Outlook Calendar
2. Go to "Add calendar" → "Subscribe from web"
3. Paste your calendar feed URL
4. Click "Import"

Apple Calendar

1. Open Calendar app
2. Go to "File" → "New Calendar Subscription"
3. Paste your calendar feed URL
4. Click "Subscribe"

Automatic Updates

Your calendar app will automatically check for updates periodically. New events, changes, and cancellations will sync automatically to your calendar.

Security

Your calendar token is private and should be kept secure. If you suspect your token has been compromised, you can revoke it and generate a new one in your calendar settings.
